Being an avid gamer during my younger years, I have been exposed to the world of 8-bit gaming. So it is to know surprise that I would have an affinity for pixel art.
Yes, pixel art. The style on which Mario and Donkey Kong was born with. But scoff not at it, my good sir. Pixel art isn’t anymore limited to just that. Because as video games have matured over the years, so has the style of pixel art. Just take a look at the example below made by a pixel artist:
What do you think? Unlike traditional art, pure pixel art is done pixel-by-pixel, meaning point by point, until it makes a big cohesive picture. It’s kinda like pointillism, only with more focus.
