I’m a sucker for sweet electronic setups. And such sweeetness is my aim for my computer rig. As you may have seen on my previous posts and on the picture below, my computer setup sports 2 monitors side by side with an extended desktop.

Although hard to make out because of the darkness, the computer monitor on the right actually sits on the top of a small cabinet. While the one on the left on the table. Since there is a difference in height I had to use a box to elevate the left monitor so that the two would be top aligned.

Since I was just using a regular box as a makeshift elevator, my setup is something that you couldn’t call beautiful. To fix this, I’m planning to buy a wall mount for the left monitor. I’ve scoured lots of local shops but none of them were up to my standards. First, they need to be strong and stable so that they could carry the weight, second they have to be flexible and able to accommodate different sizes just in case I decided to upgrade my monitors in the future (which, will happen, I assure you), and finally something that isn’t heavy on the price.

My search finally came to a stop when I chanced upon a sweet  deal from buy.com: An Atdec Telehook Universal Flush Wall Mount which was originally priced at around $89.00 but is now $33.17. What a bargain!

Thank God the internet is here, it had saved me all the time and effort of looking for a cheap wall mount. Will make a purchase soon, don’t want to miss the weekly deal. I can’t wait.
