There are times when we see famous people get cartoonized for that much needed humorous effect. How many times have we seen a caricature of the lead singer of Aerosmith with the exaggerated big lips, or even President Obama drawn with a super long face? Rarely do we see things the other way around. With this I mean, bringing famous cartoon characters to life in the 3d world.

This is exactly what artist, Pixeloo, has done. He took famous cartoon characters and made them look like real-life. And by God, he’s done a good job!

I really hate spoilers. I most especially hate people who enjoy spoiling stuff to people who don’t want any. These are people who don’t care of other people’s people and deserves a beating. Thank God, there’s the Spoiler Police to help us! Yehey!

This is one of my favorite College Humor videos. It’s short, witty, and very funny. Especially the last part where the guy forgot his headphones. Lol. Reminds me of Shaun of the Dead. You know when this guy was bitten by a zombie and then… Hehe. Just joshing you!

The death of the family guy

Family Guy is a show that I fell madly in love with back in the day. SouthPark I like also, but its preachy attitude is sometimes just too much for someone who just want to get some laughs. Simpsons is another favorite, but Homer’s idiotic antics is just a rehash of his previous episodes. Family Guy’s take on comedy is different and its really refreshing.

Some don’t really like Family Guy. They say that their jokes are, most of the time, too random and not related to the plot. Well, it is! Maybe even 99.9% of the time! It’s randomness is its strong point since you don’t know what will happen next. Not unlike other comedies when you already know what would happen that it kills the joke completely.

Sure, Family Guy has some flaws. But it is one of my favorite shows of all time.

Unfortunately, it seems that Family Guy has lost its steam lately, especially in the last season. And here I am wondering, why is that? How come such a show with randomness and virtually no limit in topics ran out of steam? Is it the show, or the people behind it?

It just saddens me that such an awesome show would slowly wither away. I reckon that this show would still continue to air for a few more seasons but will be more devoid of comedy. Similar to what happened to the Simpsons.

Watching Sherlock Holmes gave me the urge to watch the Detective Conan series once again.

It’s an anime featuring an adolescent boy who solved crimes during his free time. He was so smart that even the police sought help from him. But one day, being the nosy detective that he is, he stumbled upon something that he wasn’t meant to find. He was later caught and drugged using an experimental drug that supposedly, would kill the victim and would not show any traces in the autopsy of the cause. Since the drug was experimental, it turned our protagonist’s body to that of a young preschool boy.

He then sought to find out the people who changed him and get the antidote, while at the same time solving some crimes along the way.

I know it sounds crazy but it’s a really great show, especially the crimes and how they are committed. The series started in 1996 and is still airing even up until today. It has garnered over 400+ episodes and I’m surprised that they don’t run out of material!

So yeah, if you’re a mystery nut. I suggest giving Detective Conan a go. Sure it’s an anime, but get past that and you’re in for a treat!
