I’ve learned my lessons well after that incident when a neighbor tripped from the computer cable wires which I just left loosely lying on my room carpet.   He knocked himself down and got a deep scar on the forehead due to my carelessness (am to blame?).  Well, he is partly to blame too since he did not watch his step…lol.  Kidding aside, from then on, after receiving a stern warning and being reprimanded without let up by my Dad and my friend’s mom and dad , I drilled into my mind that I will and should always use the ever reliable plastic cord cover so there will be no more slips and falls…. or if I won’t do that and still insist to be unmindful of the safety of others, then, I think I should barred them from entering my room again- no more visitors.
