I’ve read from mom’s latest shoutout that to date her passport which she brought to the embassy has not been renewed yet for more than 2 months already. Thus, her planned trips are in the back burner awaiting positive news soon. She is just taking it calmly and I don’t know for how long… knowing how mom is.. unpredictable….
She can’t apply for exit reentry visa which is supposed to have been done a month ago but well, eventualities changed all her plans and there is not much of a choice but be positive about things. Mom just consoled herself with the thought that “everything happens for a reason”.
Department of Foreign Affairs released circulars appealing to the public for understanding citing technical concerns and surge of the demand of e-passports caused the delay in renewal.
