A disturbing news about Dan, our High school friend circulated amongst us his batch mates during one of our casual get together.  It was reported that he had alienated himself from the group because he is suffering from bouts of depression due to  severe nodular acne which led him to shy away from friends and became a loner.  Such a waste because he is such a good, jolly friend and we love him for that.  It’s too bad that he is suffering now from psychological and emotional problems and his mom is worried sick.   It all started when his girlfriend broke up with him saying that she can no longer stand the sight of his scarred face and when his acne began to appear in clusters.  Huh!  Her love  is only superficial!   His mind seemed to have been affected now by acne as his skin is… because he already lost hope and nothing else matters.

Well, the group connived with Dan’s mom so she can arrange for our surprise visit and that he can receive some good counselling from us his friends.  Maybe he haven’t heard about the modern breakthrough in acne treatment available in the market.

Definitely there is life during and after acne!
