The family is considering to make few changes in the interior of the house for a fresher and up to date look.  Aside from the interior,  dad also wanted to have it repainted and the carpet in the receiving room replaced.  Mom was quite displeased last week when they hosted a farewell party of an aunt and our carpet in the living area got sullied.  To my mom, cleaning the spills and the chewing gums is taxing although dad tried to console her that a professional carpet cleaner will take care of it, still she insisted that she wanted to have it changed.

And not to further the argument about petty things, my dad accompanied her to the ongoing laminate flooring sale and made her choose laminated floorings  to her heart’s desire.    That means good bye carpet…. Well, I believe it is a wise decision because my dad has recently assumed a leadership position  in a community they belong to, so we are expecting that meetings and trainings will surely be held in our place from time to time.

Alright, so mom won her way again and I hope that will end her whining….
