One of my favorite games of all time would be the role-playing game entitled Suikoden 2. To those unfamiliar with the game, it’s a classic 2d RPG from Konami which was very different from the Final Fantasy series, its counterpart during its heydays. It is its difference that made very adored by fans of the genre. While other people were playing Final Fantasy 7, the more hardcore gamers played Suikoden 2.
It’s non-traditional battle system as well as the setting set it apart from other RPGs. Plus, the game ha over 108 characters recruit for your army and be part of your party. But where it truly shines is with its story. I’m not gonna explain more, but suffice to say, it’s one of the best but underrated games of all time.
This classic game, as I found out at an online auction, is now considered a rare masterpiece. Only a few copies are now in existence today. One of those copies is now for sale at around USD100,000! Darn! If it only I knew that such a game would be this much, I would have saved my copy!
